The end and the beginning

After the season finale of Radio-Canada television's " En direct de l'univers", Philippe Dunnigan will now head out to "Theatre St-Denis" for a series of 12 concerts with Montreal singing Diva Ginette Reno.

The Sherbrooke Tribune honours Philippe Dunnigan

Philippe Dunnigan is proud to have received the "Mérite estrien" Arts and Culture award from "La Tribune" . The Gala was held at  Sherbrooke University on February 21st. "It's a great feeling to be recognized by the people where you grew up".

Star Académie then Las Vegas

Star Académie, the French Canadian version of American Idol, has asked Philippe Dunnigan to provide and lead a 25 piece orchestra for their Sunday February 19th Gala. After that it will be time to pack a suitcase to return to Las Vegas and Celine! Back in Montreal on March 18th.  

Celebrating 2012 with Celine

It's on stage with Celine Dion that Philippe Dunnigan will be welcoming the New Year. Celine's Las Vegas residency resumed on December 28th to a capacity crowd. The first leg of 2012 will end on January 23rd. Peace and health to all for the New Year!

Christmas on the radio!

The Philippe Dunnigan Quartet will be the guest for "Alain Lefèvre's Noël" on Radio-Canada's Espace Musique, December 24th at 8pm. Alain and the Quartet will offer a live performance of their new CD "Petit Noël"

"Petit Noël" by Alain Lefèvre and the Philippe Dunnigan Quartet is #1 on iTunes Canada Classical charts for its first week since its launch on November 8th 2011.

Adisq Gala Awards

Ginette Reno won this year's" Best selling album" and "Pop album of the year" while Eric Lapointe went home with "Rock album of the year" and "Male singer of the year" at the annual Adisq Gala, Quebec's music industry association.  Philippe Dunnigan is proud to have been part of these winning projects.

Return to Montreal

Philippe Dunnigan will be back at work in Montreal starting in September. First he will be in studio to record the score of a documentary at  the NFB and a motion picture at Piccolo Studios. Later on the Dunnigan String Quartet will have the privilege to take part in the recording of Canadian piano virtuoso Alain Lefèvre's next CD. The recordings will take place in Mirabel late September.

End of Celine's first run

After 54 sold out shows and 225000 spectators it's time for a break for Celine and her crew. For Philippe Dunnigan it was a fascinating experience. A new show, a new orchestra and a singer at the top of her game...see you back in Vegas December 28th!
